Queen Elizabeth 2

A few (of the many) views of the QE 2 i took recently, i started off at Point Lonsdale (heads) then drove from there to Station Pier , it took the Queen 3 hours to get from the Heads to the pier so i had plenty of time to drive back to Melb, park the car, secure a good spot, have a coffee and relax before she arrived, i also shot a large number of pics from the pier opposite (princes pier) which is closed to the public but i arranged to get on it and take some pics of it as i am compiling a record of piers etc in Vic as a photographic theme ( one of the many themes i have)

About to enter the heads to Port Philip bay

That's one big boat. Nice job capturing it, you've really shown how big it really is.

Some great views of the ship there, Nikonboy. I also took some photos of her (posted a couple of weeks ago), but I could only take those from near the smaller pier, adjacent to the station pier.

Well done.

The second one really shows the scale of the ship. Nice shots.

Lovely shots of a great ship. My favourite is number 2 showing the enormous scale of the QE2.
