Frawgy in a BlendaWent outside earlier and heard a loud racket.. grabbed the torch and followed the noise, look down and heres a tiny lil frog going off his nut in the grass.. so i picked him up with wet hands and got him setup for a couple of photos before placing him in a safe location away from all the toads

Bago, Toads will eat anything that fits in there mouth and moves.. and aslong as it doesnt taste bad they'll go the whole lot... ive heard storys of toads eating small mice and small rats.. bird chicks and other small animals that they can get access to... a frog is nothing different Tim D70 - D200/MBD200 Coming soon - Too Much Gear, Not Enough Talent

Magnificent shots Tim - you should be very proud of yourself young man!
Graceful Tree Frog (Litoria gracilenta) is my guess though, as always, I may be wrong. I'm not a big fan of the desaturated or black and white treatments but number 3 is an absolute magazine cover. Fantastic composition, colour, exposure and sharpness. It's just screaming out to be blown up, framed and hung!! Simon

Brilliant, Tim! What more can I say??
Wait 'til Rel sees these... The pose in the second shot is fantastic! I don't think that's a very common compostion with this sort of subject and you've bloody nailed it. Well done - these are rippers. Simon

Tim
You are becoming a seriously good photographer! They are supurb! A tad more depth of field on a couple of shots would have been the icing on the cake. (Even if it means bumping up the ISO a little). Regards
Matt. K
Tim - all I can say is,
Bloody Fantastic !!!! You've taken a superb series of shots of, yes Manta was right, Litoria gracilenta, or the graceful tree frog. (also known as the dainty tree frog). You've captured the essence of a beautiful little frog, with big gorgeous golden eyes, and fantastic colouring. I'm not a fan of the desat treatment either, but the colour shots ...... ![]() Fantastic Tim - and you're right, you title of "Toad King" has been revoked ![]() Rel & Damo Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
