the first one is whacked - like it
moody and surreal, composirion tight! in street talk that means cool and collected i woudl just comment that technically it looks like the tripod was affeted by vibration the defined areas look slightly soft, for an image liek that i think it would look much better if it were sharp
Wendell I think that the softness may be caused by movement of the clouds and moon rather than tripod vibration, there was very litte wind on both evenings.

Great shots. Love the sky in #1, noticed the great cloud formations while working the other night. The only thing is the burned out moon. Is it possible to capture two images and overlay them in PS so there is detail in the moon? Much as we see it with the naked eye.

Lifes journey is not to arrive at our grave in a well preserved body but, rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Wow what a ride." D70s, D300, 70-300ED, 18-70 Kit Lens, Nikkor 105 Micro. Manfrotto 190Prob Ball head. SB800 x 2.
Craig I know that it is and one evening I guess I should give it a go.

I think I would really like the first one without any horizon or water. It would turn it into more of an abstract and separate it from all the other night shots that are all over.
