Nathan, being a dog lover myself, I adore the 1st one - this would look absolutely fantastic enlarged, framed and on a wall in your home - LOVE it! What's dogs name? :)

Not so keen on these, the fact the tongue wasn't coloured yet the eyes and collar are doesn't work for me. Sorry but I'd prefer a more natural treatment, but that's just me.

the look in the eyes is so cute, really sooky :lol: but yeh i can see what you mean about the same look in the eyes. but i dont think there is any kelpie in her. labradore x blue heeler

I'm certainly a dog person, miss my old fat dog (may he rest in peace, or chasing cats in heaven :lol: ), man's best friend... I find it amazing how attached we become to our loved pets, they're a family member...

I too prefer the color one, the selective coloring throws me a bit when her tongue is still colored...

Emma's beautiful, make sure you give her a hug for me :)

Oh, forgot to mention before... Really cool avatar!

hey andrew, thanks for the comments.
the reason i didnt colour the tongue is that i was trying to highlight the elements of her that are most special, being her red colar and gold name tag (she has only ever had red colars and gold name tags) and her gorgous brown eyes. it wasnt meant to be a coloured subject on a B&W background, so much, but just to highlight the special parts of her.
