A twist of nature - (graphic animal behaviour)Captured these on the neigbours back verandah this morning. Sadly the pythons head is a OOF and he took off before I could get any more. Horrible shooting conditions pouring rain and windy.
![]() ![]() C&C please Steve

Fantastic! Nice catch! Both you and the python
![]() The second one would a ripper if the head had been in focus. The gutter is also a bit distracting, but I guess you had no choice.
That first one is awesome, it is a pitty you had less then ideal shooting conditions. That second one is also cool but it is a shame about it being out of focus.
Snakes are great creatures(with me owning one myself) and to be there for that would have been awesome, let alone capture it. Top work LIVE4EVA
It is amazing to see these beasties at work. The same snake came and took another bird this afternoon in the middle of a hail storm. I couldn't bring myself to take the camera/lens out but it was amazing to watch. We get plenty of pytons around here during the summer - I suspect this guy is just topping up for the winter. Perhaps later in the year I will get another opportunity

That Scaly-breasted Lorikeet didn't have a chance once the python got hold of it. Great to catch the moment.
Cheers Michael
