I think you're right, a sharpen would do this shot wonders, it's clean and I like the angle you've chosen.

Yep. Works for me too, but could be sharper as you say. And you look nothing like Heath.

I think you have an interesting S/portrait here. I agree could be so much better with DOF changes and more sharpness where it counts. Like the perspective though.
