For those of you who remember my little story a few weeks ago about the wedding pics... I went along with the photographers to a wedding up at Maleny last weekend, just as a hanger on
Great day. It was a pleasure to watch the photogs at work and also have the opportunity to take pics with no pressure. I was still exhausted though! Four and a half hours of taking pics, crouching, kneeling, up and down etc, etc - found muscles I didn't know I had LOL.
Learnt heaps, and got some more ideas tucked away - not to mention that the wish list grew a bit more.
Anyhow, here are a few that I particularly liked. C&C much appreciated.
Cheers

Great work, Judy. My picks are 6 and the last one. No. 6 looks very natural. The only negative comment I have is that reds look oversaturated/ blown in some of the photos, but I may be wrong.
Well done.

Thanks Suzanne.
Yep, it was a great experience. The photogs are a family team and I was with mother and daughter at this wedding. The dad was up the road at another wedding.
Lovely family, and great to work with. It was really neat of them to offer me this opportunity.
Cheers

Thanks a lot for commenting Alex.
You've got me thinking about the red now. The colours seem very realistic on my monitor, but it's not calibrated so I could be wrong The first few shots suffer from me having to use my onboard flash which of course is too direct and harsh (SB800 top of the wish list).
Cheers

Thanks Shutterbug and MHD
hehe, definitely not a white wedding. The bride looked stunning, I thought she was brave to be so different, and she really carried it off. Very, very elegant.

Thanks Kelloggs... I presume you mean the cake?
It was a cool cake, layers of little individual cakes, quite different.

Agreed, and very nicely captured!
But a wedding on the 1st of April?? What kind of cruel joke is that?
Cheers
Steffen.

My thoughts exactly about the date too. I would have picked any other date myself LOL.

Hi Judy,
Very nice picks. My fav are 3, 6 and 1 (in that order) I feel the bride looks nice and relaxed in No. 3.
I am envious that you got to be a hanger on... wish I had such an opp.
Cheers
