#1 doesn't do a whole lot for me. #2 is really nice, and exposed well to capture the lovely soft light. #3 is kind of cool and growing on me, but I think I'd prefer it straight... Cheers,

#1 - I like this compositionally, but think the treatment lets it down - I'd like to see a grittier B & W conversion #2 - By far the best of this three - good light, well framed #3 - does nothing other than bring out the horizon nazi in me - your subject doesn't dominate the shot enough - I keep looking at the background Peter

#2 I'd file under "good idea, must shoot it properly next time", the smog makes it feel dirty to me, but not in a useful way if that makes sense.
#3 I'd like more space between the top of the head and the edge of the shot. http://www.moz.net.nz

Guess I'm going with the consensus here. I love number 2, the gull adds to the shot, and the captured light is lovely.

Wow, I'm suprised, I nearly didn't even put the lighthouse in. The last time I posted (what I thought was a good shot of it, it recieved a lot of negative reviews, so this time I put it in only as tip of the hat to the elusive Stubbsy). So I'm suprised and pleased by the response, unfortunately I can't seem to FTP anything at present otherwise I'd try to tweak the shots such as a grittier version of Urban.
Considering I never once saw you with a tripod, the shots are really well done for hand held.
The first shot would be great if you had some blurry people walk underneath the urban. It seems to be missing something with anything else. Lighthouse shot is very elegant with the flying bird in the background. The merit for the last shot is the curvature of the dragon. I would centre dragon and make it into a portrait shot with less background. The texture is amazing and reallt draws you to it.
No tripod, I can't imagine how sore I would of been had I been lugging the benro around as well, the trick with the last shot was the Dragon statue was my tripod! I rested it on the back and liked the affect, strangely enough it seems to be the least popular shot
