Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Was back seeking out the motor sport today. I took the kids along to a Drift event being held at the local raceway. This was a first for al of us, we had only read about this type of event and hadn't seen one. Mate! these guys definately cut loose and give it everything.

Here are a couple of the shots I managed to capture.

This guy was in my opinion the best on the day.

Dave - this may be of help:

http://www.driftaustralia.com.au/

#1 is the pick of the crop for me, action a plenty - burning rubber, drifting of course, plus the colours work well IMO.

Are you trying to become accredited, to get closer to the action with the 'BIGMA' :?: If so, I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for that Fozzie,

I have just got of the phone from one of the drifting web sites who would like me to supply more photos. As for accreditation I will work on that for some upcoming events.

Hi there Redline, thanks for the heads up on the driver, I knew it was from the mainland but no idea who was behind the wheel. If I can find someone to sponsor my trip I would be there in a flash to cover the DA event. Am trying to find out the date of the next practice round down here (apparently at Symmons plains).

Cheers for stopping by.
