Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

finally finished my Fred Bare summer campaign
because of the highly stylisistic art direction i used for the campaign i had to edit out alot of the images with the client to get a presentable set that looked more fun and innocent.
i'm a fan of movement high contrast lighting and beautiful moody tones
so here are 4 images from the campaign:
used the strobe on all of them
on the last day we had to return the lighting before the end of the working day so i ended up riging a 3xsb800 flash setup to light this one, it was crude but it's combined light output matched the strobe
the complete catalogue can be viewed here warning the whole page is a couple of MB in size 1024pixels max width

why did you have to edit out so many images?
did they change the brief or did the art direction not match the brief?

I've gotta say that while I can see why others might find these impressive, I don't think they're all that good.
Compositionally, most of them seem weak and while I don't mind your curves, they seem somewhat flat, with the exception of the last one which I think is the better of the lot.
In fact, I'd say the last has quite a lot of beautiful qualities to it, but the smile on the girls just looks forced and the light on her face seems just that bit too harsh compared to her arms... and for me that doesn't blend with this image all too well.
I've gotta say, I've seen better from you.

Wendell - I've had a look through the full catalogue on your site, and I think it looks excellent.
There are too many images to comment on individually, however I particularly like your treatment of motion - the kicking water shots are fantastic.
I also like the low sunset with strong side lighting, very atmospheric.
Finally, I like the cover images - the haze created by drowning the image with light has a strong effect, for me it creates an atmosphere that summer is just about to break through...
Top stuff.
