Thanks for not photographing my bloody face!
I managed to cut the bridge of my nose on the D70 hot shoe so was walking round with blood running down my nose at a medieval fayre. Talk about trying too hard to fit in ![]() You did well Tim I'm not quite that old yet! Do you want to tell them about getting in?
Pretty Girl at Entrance: "So your the guys who are here to take photographs of the pirates?"
Dug: "Yes.. yes we are" Pretty Girl at Entrance: "Oh Right, well, here's this pretty green (arm hair wrenching) tag to wear, you dont have to pay entrance, thanks guys!" Something along those lines?? ![]() Thanks for taking me again Dug, enjoyed it Tim D70 - D200/MBD200 Coming soon - Too Much Gear, Not Enough Talent

It was the Sunshine Coast Medieval Fair.. unfortunately it was a very small affair... and I feel kinda sorry for the folks who showed up for it.. they had to organise on short notice and there was a car show and the redcliffe kite festival held on the same weekend... alot of shows within 30mins drive.. so the Medieval fair was kind of quiet and small.. but the people were friendly and willing to pose for a photo..
Not what I expected.. but then again, I dont get out to these kind of events.. but it was great and I enjoyed it, even tho it was quiet Tim D70 - D200/MBD200 Coming soon - Too Much Gear, Not Enough Talent

I use the entrance technique quite often it is amazing how successful it can be ![]() Acrobats to Zombies! I really cannot think of too many subjects I have not photographed at some time or other. The Abby fayre:-) Let me know & i'll turn up again:-) I have enough photos but it is a fun day out! I love watching maiming and killing.
while the Abbey team aren't paid, we do retain copyright of our pics, we get full credit on their use for the Abbey Annual book (which the editor tells me is running slow this year) and so far they are yet to fix their website. Free entry of course over the full event, and lots of access to sections that otherwise are not available to the public. (like the jousting arena - just dont get trampled)
