Bike N BigBirdsHi All, MotoX today but wont bore you with them so here is just 1 and few of Pelican i took at Nelson on the Glenelg River Victoria on the way home from Portland where MotoX was held today.

As per usual the MotoX shot is a cracker. The last pelican shot is a beauty too, but I find the border a little overpowering. PS You never bore me with your bike shots ![]() Peter

Thanks Peter, yeh spose it could be i just put it on for ahh no reason really LOL. Habit maybe, but yeh taken with D2x and 300m f2.8, lens doesn't seem to be leaving the camera latey.

the last pelican is a good capture too although if I was being pickey, I would have liked the wing tip in the shot. Dont think that the black border does the birds any good though. steve check out my image gallery @

Steve, reason why his wing tip is not there is cos the mongrel took off when i was not expecting it so very quickly took the shot. But yeh thanks for coments and was low light and bloody cold and well took some and got back in the car as it started raining.

Steve, i admire these bird people who take such nice pics of them and knowing it is a pain in the butt and yes very challenging. I dont think i would like to be dooing it but like to try now and then if i get the chance.

Thanks Guys, well what can i say piro,LOL got to be lucky sometimes and well i have been shooting lately more with my Nikon 300m f2.8 attached to D2x. Ok it is bigger and lot heavier but just love it when you have plenty of room to move around the track and so on.
