Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

After an entire month of doing nothing much other than sports, the nice skies this time of the year inspired me to head out to the beach for some cliche sunsets. First and second shots was done yesterday at Semaphore Jetty. I had planned to head out to Largs Bay Marina for tonight's shot but a nice cloud persuaded me just to stop and shoot at Semaphore again.

I thought I recognised that jetty! The third is similar to the ones I took in April on my holiday.

Fantastic colurs in the sky and the reflections on the water. It certainly looks a lot calmer than it was when I was there! Did you take any from the jetty itself? Or just along the beach?
Love those colurs! Great stuff.

avkomp, looking at the image again, I'm inclined to agree with you on that one. Doesn't seem to add much to the image.

Hehe, Semaphore ain't a bad place, didn't know it pulled the tourists though! Its only a few minutes from where I live, probably due to that I didn't go down the Jetty - just using it for subject matter. Keen to return there in the near future especially when my Sigma 10-20 arrives...
Thanks for the feedback guys

Very smooth colours and lines, I like the layout too. The third does the least for me, but they're all fairly sweet!
