Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Nathan : Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your comment re. adding more contrast to the second shot but I purposely didn't add too much as it can look unnatural.
Bernie : Thanks for comments and next time we are out in the field I'll try one of your grad filters Cheers Michael
Love the first one Michael. Great composition. At the risk of repeating myself fantastic country

Mark and Mark - thanks guys. First one is my fave and posted second one as there weren't many rainforest shots posted so far.
Regarding it being 'fantastic country', I couldn't agree with you guys more. I feel so fortunate to have been paid to have taken guests there repeatedly over a 5 year stint and will be going back to get more shots down the track. Cheers Michael
Thanks Craig, Both shots were taken using a borrowed D100 and I'm still getting used to the settings. Having the D200 will be brilliant. Just have to be patient until its arrival. Cheers Michael
Just catching up on some of the posts from last week that I missed. Love the first one of these - it is a lost world and a beautiful one at that. Have been to O'Reilly's, it's a great spot. Alas that was in my pre-digital stage.

Just what do you think you're doing Dave?
Thanks Suzanne, Yes, it really is a beauitiful spot and one of my favourite places. Having worked and lived there for 5 years was just bliss. Cheers Michael
