Fiji Photos Part 1Well thought I should atleast share a few shots at this stage, while I took a lot of photos on my week away, due to mainly my own stupidity my keeper / good shot rate is way down. On more then one occasion I took the camera shot 350 shots and THEN realised the ISO was @ 1600, my own stupidity nearly made me cry once I reviewed my shots. From now on I have a little sign on my camera (inside the LCD protector) to remind me to check the ISO you idiot. Anyways. Please fire away with some feedback thanks and let me know which version of the last shot works better.

we all do the iso 1600 thing, sure you can't salvage those images they may look quite arty
i like the stillness and composition of number 2. followed by 3 i feel it's better than the last shot because the tone is much more muted and relays a cerain mood
Yep, 2nd and 4th for me. Magic.

I'm going to go totally against the grain and say that #2 & #4 are excellent
![]() #1 would work if the sky was more interesting, the composition is good but there's not enough to hold interest. Hope you had a great holiday despite stress-causing ISO1600 ![]() So join in the chorus, and sing it one and all!
Sorry if I've mislead you, but these were ISO 200, the ISO 1600 shots I haven't been brave enough to post yet... they will need a LOT of work to save them ... unless I go for a noisey b&w look.
Craig. #2 is the standout. #3 and #4 are good, but would be better if you removed the rope.

2nd & 4th definitely Craig, you must have had a great time in Fiji. "Bula vinaka".
I mess up on the ISO all the time too, I just leave it on Auto now, except when photographing surfers which calls for changing ISO quite often. Max President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

I did have a great time, the people were so friendly and helpful, the ones I met really did have beautiful souls ![]()
Hi Craig,
I'm glad to see you had a great time and made it back safe and sound. Sorry to hear about your ISO dilemmas - something we can all relate to I suspect. As for these images, number 2 works far and away the best for me. Andrew
Hi Craig, hope you had a great trip! Going with the crowd, 2 & 4. I would have a go at cropping/cloning the edge (whatever that is) at the bottom of 2, to continue the smoothness of the water.

Just what do you think you're doing Dave?
Those are excellent shots!! Hope you had a great holiday. Fiji looks stunning. Love number 2 and number 4 especially. Great job Craig
