Now for something completely different
the brief was to take something into and empty room and photograph it

this is my son Angus having lots of fun we tried lots of poses and positions in the room (shipping container) and this symmetrical shot won out mainly because the lighting in the room gave these very tapered leading lines in the walls and floor/ceiling note on my monitor the back wall shows no detail and the roof and floor are black can people with properly calibrated monitors let me know if you can see detail so I can adjust my monitor brightness level
I can see what you are trying to achieve with the lighting. Interesting shot. Well done. Why did you change the colour of the container? Or was it that light blue?

the container was grey but I was looking for a cool/cold desatureted look
so I cooled down the white balance and that made the walls blue then I desaturated Angus and the flippers while leaving the saturation in the walls and the swim cap
i like it a lot with the desat look, but maybe try increasing the saturation on the yellow flippers and see what the outcome is.

Interesting idea. Wonderfully executed. My monitor is calibrated and there is detail in every square inch of the container. Being an LCD monitor, of course that changes depending on the angle you view it from.

I haven't voted yet on that challenge, but I really like your take on the theme, and for me I can see detail everywhere (un calibrated LCD). I hope you score doesn't suffer much from some voters bias against taking people as you object into the room. Good Luck Mate!
Very interesting shot. And the back wall has detail throughout. Plus my standard comment: this being an aRGB tagged image it renders incorrectly on non-colorspace-aware (as in: most) browsers. However, this image isn't nearly as badly affected as many others. It has a slight magenta (or red) tinge when interpreted as sRGB.
