Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Another reflection image from Sunday. This is my favourite of the series.

John

I had a look at the gallery and agree this is the best of the group. The sticks in the water just add that little extra interest. Some of the others have such perfect reflections that they look fake whereas the sticks dispel this illusion.

Thanks Peter.
I got a nice sunrise at the same spot on the way to work this morning.
I'll post it once I get home and convert it to jpeg.
Cheers

Great conditions for reflections there mustn't have been a breath of air to get them that perfect, I agree with Peter the sticks add some interest and credibility to the reflection, a sunrise spot should be lovely.

Woah, this immediately grabbed my attention, the reflection is stunning!

Definately the posts (remnants from an old pier?) add a point of interest which reflection shots sometimes need...

If this is a local/convenient spot, I'd love to see some sunrise/sunset shots from there, maybe with the old posts more into the frame rather than on the edge?

Lovely image... Wow, that reflection...

I like the balance of this image. The clouds make the image heavy on the right, but the sticks bring the balance back by providing interest on the left. Great reflection and colours.

Thanks Craig, Andrew, Owen and Marco.
Of the shots I got there, the ones with the sticks were certainly the most interesting in my opinion.
I just posted a sunrise shot from this morning, not quite at the same spot.
I'll go back and try again with a sunrise and sticks next still morning.
Cheers

This is great. Sharp as a tack, clear and the light is great.
