Dug's body parts?

Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Dug's body parts?

Postby Dug on Sun Jun 11, 2006 11:20 pm

OK so the bits of my body I photograph aren't all that pretty

( see or don't look at "Do not look at this (espacially after dinner) Extremly Ucky" http://www.dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?p=217048#217048 )

but it is an on going project for me.

I will keep documenting my various injuries should I stop posting the photos?

Cheers doug

Go the gore ;)
I should have taken photos when I got my nose pierced - now THAT was gory!!!! Never have I had so much blood pouring down my face and dripping off my chin - was a sight to behold LOL..... I never thought I would voluntarily let someone stick a HUGE sewing needle through my nose, while saying - "wiggle your toes REALLY REALLY fast - you won't even notice". Needless to say, she was wrong, and then SHE nearly passed out from all of MY blood !!!! LOL

Ewwww nose piercing EEEEWWWWW
yuck Ew I could not do that

I'm too much of a sook for that ! :D :D :D :D

I did have my nose re-broken and reset a while back to improve my breathing. THAT HURT!

Full pethadine injections for the removal of the dressings and it still HURT!

I have no idea how anyone could actually want a cosmetic nose job!

Ah war stories...

Broken noses do hurt but after writing off my favorite play toy (toyota GT4) whilst rallying I noticed I had a few problem... 5 broken ribs, left leg broken in two places above and below knee and spiral fracture in right leg above knee. I was fully conscience when the medics got to us :)

I'm certainly glad that no one had a D70 in those days otherwise I'd have made a few websites. I was most certainly a roid and pethadine junkie for a few years until I mended. With good doctors, surgery and physio I managed a 99% recovery... I take off 1% as my feet point slightly outwards instead of being straight so I'm not a very effective snow skier.

Mind you flesh wounds look worse than they really are... Love the effect of the wrinkled cloth beneath the foot... cheese cloth or a bandage would have given it that "medical feel"... Love the warning too...

Have fun, keep'em coming 8)

I have had my fair share of car accidents but luckily so far no major injuries.

Glad you healed up OK.

I could post some crackers, but they would be A LOT worse, even worse than the toe. Also they would be bits of other people, mostly not attached, or even close to, the original owner.

Who would have thought that a soft palate could travel so far by itself.....

MVAs? maybe we should post a few in an attempt to make people drive more carefully?

But all dslrusers drive carefully all the time anyway don't they?

I most certainly hope so  :D

I thought SA drivers were agressive until I came here to the US. It's certainly given me a new perspective... there is absolutely no need to rush or speed anywhere, unless you're the one in the back of an ambulance
