Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Took the little woman for a drive on Saturday to Tara Bulga National Park (Vic) thinking it was going to be a nice day.
The fog/haze did not lift and guess who left the tripod home and anti shake off, err..... to be steady shot...
To say the least it was gloomy and two thirds of the shots had to be dumped.
Lesson to be learnt, never leave the tripod on the lounge floor.
Anyway this is one shot that I've been able to work on and still contains two areas that need a touch up.
Comments welcome.

I might add that this shot was taken on a monopod with the anti shake function on..
Image has been worked in PS. Exif info in image

overcast/diffused lighting probably helped you in this type of capture
nice/calm and relaxing image...you did well just using a monopod Good effect on the stream...maybe a tad bright at the top with the downsized image but may be a different story when viewed as large

Paul

The WB looks a bit off as the water has a pinkish tinge. Other than that, very nice image
So join in the chorus, and sing it one and all!

Great stuff, especially considering it's using a monopod, well done.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm as surprised as anyone that the shot even turned out considering the shutter speed.
A lot of shots at 1/15 and 1/25 ended up in the bin.
