Hi Stubbsy - 1st and 3rd don't do anything for me, but I really like the 2nd. I think it's because of the 'texture' of the shot - the wonderfully gravelly feel of the steps comes through beautifully in this shot - and the shadow of the steps leading off th right of the frame finish it off

They work well as a style...well spotted. I suspect they would look even better as very large prints. The quality if the D2x is showing through with these pics. Nothing wrong with artee fartee if it come off pablo.

Thanks for the comments people. #1 is definitely the weakest. Its the one shot of these three that didn't come out of the camera the way I envisaged it when taking the shot.

Aha... This was the other set of shots that I meant to comment on, but never achieved it...
#2 is indeed splendid, but I would be happy to have the other 2 hanging on my walls as well... Cheers, John
