Really nice shot Owen...
I almost hesitate to say it because it's almost a cliché, but you might want to apply a spirit level to the horizon... That's the only thing that distracted me from proclaiming it an excellent shot... Cheers, John

Thanks John and Adam. I didn't even notice the horizon was crooked. I'll fix it up after

There have been a lot of pics like this one lately so I must confess to getting a bit blase about them. This one breaks that mould however. The framing is great, the colour right and the image, BECAUSE of the waterfall effect is not just a "misty water" shot and so stands out all the more. Well done. Peter

owen,
I say: it's nice and beautiful capture at the late hour of the day. Colour is balance and spot on. Use a spirit level on the hot shoe next time. Birddog114

Thanks birdy, it was a quick snatch and grab - my shoes were about to get wet after taking this shot!

Love it Owen. I'm a sucker for slow shutter speed water stuff and have probably assisted in turning Stubbsy off these sort of shots with some of my recent posts.
This is a cracker. My nearest seascape is actually Moreton Bay which doesn't have any surf. Tides and wind generate the only movement so it doesn't lend itslef to this form of photography. For me, perhaps a tad more foreground would have really rounded off this image. I know you were constrained by the timing of the shot but it seems a little cramped at the bottom of the frame. Just my little niggle... ![]() Simon

Thanks for the comment manta. Yes, although this is a beach shot, it was low tide and this was the only form of water movement I could capture as it was pretty still everywhere else.
Thanks for looking and commenting ![]()
