And some nifty lines and shadows...

But if you think I've got a scratch or a piece of dust on that left-most pillar, guess again. It's a lizard:

Go the power of the old glass that is the 70-210!

finally the first 3 are moody and i love mood, they have a sense of mystique and great nostalgic qualities, this is your kick ass style and i like it! the others i don't get

#2 is a fascinating image. So little to it at first glance, yet so fascinating to look at. There is depth there that only appears when you take the time to savour the image. Weird. #1 doesn't excite me, #3 I like your use of shadows. Peter

Wendell,
Regarding #4 ... The image was shot using our 17 (or thereabouts) years old 70-210 glass, and the point of that image was to display the fact that even (or perhaps especially) old Nikkor glass still has "it". g.

oh well leighs work always requires a bit of explaination aesthetically i meant first 3 are great
What's to explain besides the fact that he thought that a lizard was a piece of dust, but that that showed up the quality of some very old glass? g.

The first is my favourite, but you've others are great, it was funny on the ferry what we had 3 generations of Nikon Glass on our cameras, the glass definitely stands the test of time.
