like the rhs side of this a lot.
feel that the lhs lets this down with the dark area of little interst. Steve check out my image gallery @

I think it's a beautiful capture Owen but agree with Steve that it lacks a little on the left. Fantastic colours and the focus on the web really makes for a special image.
Is it just me or does it seem to be tillted slightly to the left, judging by the tree line in the right background? Simon

Cheers guys. I was focused on getting the web right so forgot about the background and also lining the shot up straight hehe.
Actually, I tried rotating it in photoshop but it didn't really look right to me. Thanks for commenting. Owen.
From the way it looks, the fence post is probably crooked so any straightening of the image would make either it or the horizon look wonky. Annoying!!

I really like this image, in particular the moody feel and rich colours. I wonder what a version might look like with the camera through the fence, fence on left of lens with the fence post taking up the left 1/3 vertical?

Thanks Rob. I have thought about that viewpoint since taking the shot, however there was a hungry horse right at the fence to my right, and although we were being friendly and giving him grass to eat I didn't want to push the friendship by jumping the fence.
I'll be going back there at some point though so I'll see if I can give your suggestion a go. Cheers. Owen.
hi
i could almost see the web moving when i open the link. really nice christian check my website>> http://www.6701.sunpixs.com
Owen - lovely photo.
So I'm guessing it is horse hair stuck in the top wire of the fence? rel Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
