Hi Owen,

what lens were you using ?
Nice shot.
I'm wondering a little about the bokeh.
What about the being that is relaxing at this table ? Nobody there :?
Perhaps a different crop ?
The shaker and the glass with the sugar need a little more emphasis.
Include a person that sits and enjoys the end of the day or just a hand and a coffee ?

Cheers,
CD

Hi christian. Good question about what was relaxing about this. I guess seeing this photo reminds me of the feeling of relaxation I had when I was sitting with my wife having a hot drink in the evening. However when I took the photo I saw the lonely tables and wanted to capture the 'loneliness' so perhaps the 'relaxing' title isn't really appropriate.

The lens was the 50mm 1.8. One of my favourites :)

Good comp but the bokeh does look a bit different.

Nice image Owen... Very pleasing as it is, but I'd be tempted to try a slight crop to the right and top (preserving the 3:2) ratio...

Is that natural bokeh? or layered noise / blur?
Cheers, John

Thanks guys. This version I believe had a slight noise added to it, however the image was taken wide open at f/1.8.
