Sorry Christian - I meant to post this morning, but thought it may have been something with the server - can't see any photos...... just red crosses.

Maybe try to repost?

Great photos. I think you caught the moment great. I love the facial expression in the last image. THe second image she looks like a doll. Great shots and great conversion to B&W.

Happy birthday to your little girl. You told the story well by setting the scene with the first shot then the next two show the expressions on her face which tell the story. You've caught the moment well and I'm sure you and your beautiful daughter will look back at the pictures in the years to come with delight. Nice work and conversion.
Regards,
Murray

I love photo 1 but #2 is just beautiful. My little girl is nearly 4 and I can see where you're coming from (proud dad style).

They really are great images, she's a beautiful little thing too :)

You should be happy with them.

Hi everyone

thanks for your comments, much appreciated, very glad you like them.

the lighting was horrible, just a couple of floroucent tubes, a bit dark. I was getting 30/s at f2.8 so i change my f5 to manual and change to it 40/s at f2.8 and some at f5.6. the flash was at -1.3 pointing up with a white difuser.

mostly shot with an 80-200mm f2.8 afsw and 18-35mm.

thanks

It's not about a single photo more than another, I reckon - they work as a trio. Love them!
