Sydney Opera House
I was caught in a dry spell without having taken any photos in about a month. This was a fairly obvious subject so it was easy to get back into things.
I've lived here for 10 years and it's the first time I've actually got round to taking photographs of the Opera House. Not your usual sunny Sydney ones though. All taken on a Pentax *ist DS with a Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 DC on a tripod - ISO 200. Run through Neat Image and then channel mixer, levels and selective use of curves. 
23mm 4s f/27 20mm 1/350s f/3.5 25mm 1/10s f/13
I think the horizon might be slightly off.
Otherwise its a great image!
To my eyes the detailed areas could use some sharpening. Perhaps neat image took some of the detail away? I agree with green cardigan about the horizon. My only other nitpick would be the rail in the bottom right corner seems a little bit misplaced.

I really like this shot, has a really dark and sinister feeling to it, opposed to the usual "postcard-style" sunshine shots. Always good to see a different take something so photographed as this.
the bw treatment of this works well.

I know about the horizon, it's been fixed in the original file but this is from the first batch of post-processing. That railing bugs me too and I should have noticed it when framing, I don't really want to clone something so big out though.
Horizon needs to be straightened approx 1 deg CW, but all in all a wonderful shot, with the curve leading your eyes to the opera house. Very different and enjoyable! Max
