Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Mad Cortes - AFWSome from Mad Cortes brand as part of AFW in Melbourne this week.

Mad Cortes is a excelent label, a fusion of victorian sensibilities and modern powerful cuts
exposure is good, especially on the black outfits, but watch your timing both feet should be on the ground, the shot looks better like that, when both feet are not on the ground it looks like you mised the shot if this happens you can crop tight just under the skirt if the shoes don't contribute to much to the outfit in your gallery i like ![]() in some cases model looks opff centre and there i sample room in those images to re-crop so they are dead centre, it may seem formulaic but htere is only a couple of ways to shoot runway in order to sell and get published excellent effort anyway i know you were in a bad locaiton on the press box and it was tight.
Excellent pics Alex - my critique would be the following:
#1 - clone out the vague ’people’ to the right of the pic #2 - clone out the blue - top left #3 - clone out the patterned area behind her head ![]() Chris
-------------------------------- I started my life with nothing and I’ve still got most of it left
for your portfolio yup clone to your hearts content
but i you work for the press you have to get everything right in the camera first and edit -> send no time to muck around
Chris and Wendell,
Thank you for your comments and suggestions. Chris, will do some cloning. Cheers Alex
