Mercedes - Up Close & PersonalA local park played host to a German Car Show today and someone was like a kid in a toy shop. The place was awash with Porsches, Beamers, Audis, Vee-Dubs and even a pristine Messerschmitt 3-wheeler but my heart belongs to the 3-pointed star. Some beautiful old girls there but my favourite was a silver 1966 300CE (2-door). I'm still processing my shots but here are some close-up images of the famous emblem.

Merc convertable - model unknownNot quite as classy as your shots, but I wanted to record the car for posterity of my holiday travels, this one in singapore. I was wondering what a beautiful car like this was doing in singapore. Fully restored and goes like the clappers!
Cheers lads.
Hash - never underestimate the money in Singapore. Stacks of Rollers and Bentleys - they like their prestige cars. Nice shot of your's too. SLs are sweet. Tony - sorry it doesn't appeal but I was actually going for that dark look. Thanks for commenting though; I appreciate it. ![]() Simon
