My home townA few pics taken in Newcastle NSW. The first two shots were taken from the top of Christ Church Cathedral - the highest point in the city.

Peter nice perspective in the first 2. I like #2 better (more punch contrast and exposure seems spot on to me. #1 semms to lack the above though I like the composition.
#3 like the balance leading lines. #4 is definitely my pick in this set. Terrific shot plenty of mood. Exposure and lighting adds great sense of mystery. Love the light beam's subtle, yet significant, appearance from the shortest citadel on the hill. cheers marco
1 and 4 definitely, #1 is a wonderful night shot, that D2x is some camera, should I say, the bloke wielding the shutter is some photographer.

Peter,
quick take these pictures off the web, people are not supposed to know that Newcastle is a great place ![]() ![]() Love the first two Peter and the last one is wonderful. The third one doesn't do much for me. Knowing the place, I think getting a bit closer and having Customs house a bit more prominent would be great. The perspective of the second one is really nice. cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.
