Why I wentThe purpose of my recent visit to SA was to attend my niece's wedding. Here is the bride, together with the obligatory array of bridesmaids (made up of various sisters, sisters-in-law and mates).

The insane part was for the photogs (including yours truly) trying to meter a white bridal gown with black bridesmaid's dresses. Equal number of groomsmen, too. Here they are trying to catch the bride's garter. Dropped by the bloke in the blue sleeves at the front! As you can probably tell, this was from later in the evening. There were 7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. I think I saw a movie like that once!

that's a problem at weddings - the groom tends to look like the groomsmen in thse sort of group shots

I was a groomsman for a bloke and his missus who had 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, and 4 flower girls.
