A few shots from my NZ trip!

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Haven't been posting here for a while, just thought to share some of the pictures I took with my D70s during my recent trip at New Zealand.

Yep, we took the half day glacier hike tour at Franz Josef - it was the most incredible thing I have ever done!

The beach shot was taken at somewhere in the South Island, couldn't remember the exact location though.

Nice shot of the glacier, show how massive it is having the people in there.

I also really like the stump on the beach, well caught.

I think for the last one, if you were to crop/clone out the distracting object on both left and right, it would make it much nicer, for me anyway.

I always love photos from NZ,

cheers,

André

Thanks André, appreciated your comments.

That glacier pic was a tough shot, have to carry my bloody camera all the way up there, it was worth it though. :D

I did not get to use my camera on the glacier last year as it was raining the day we waled it. :(
I like the stump shot as well. Was the stone on top placed?
