
Look closely - these bug eggs are sooo close to hatching - the red dots you can see are the eyes of the 'hatchlings', and if you look closely, you can see their mouthparts, and their front legs

I wonder if they can see me too ??????

Out of interest, how big were the eggs in real life? I am really appreciating all these macro shots that have been shown on here lately. It is a completely different world to what I normally see. You guys taking the macro shots, must have fantastic eyesight / vision to see these things in the first place. Russell
