Hahaha, I could see it without the outline, but it cracked me up when I scrolled down and saw it too. Thanks.
Love the reflection of the comet!
I must blind Big V, I went out and was looking just after Sunset before the cloud came and couldn't see a loody thing.
Very dissapointed ![]() I have to wait for another clear night. How long will it be visable for before it goes again. Blind Mic ![]()
This comet will be visible for the next month but it will slowly fade as it moves out of our solar system, so you will need binos soon and then after that a telescope. This comet will not be making a return visit.

Mic, I saw the comet last night (from Werribee South) at around 11pm. It was still visible in the south west sky. Russell[/img]
Thanks guys,
I'll try again. Big V, that first pic that you did. What time and settings was that one and what equipment. What does the Comet look like to the un aided eye, can you see any tail or does it just look like the star Planet Venus ? Cheers, Mic ![]()
Mic, those pics show the comet how it looks the naked eye, 30 seconds 400 ISO f4.5 17mm lens..You are having difficulty seeing at the moment because the moon glow is so bright - have a look after 10 at night and see how you go.
