Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Jeremy,
Could you please take a moment to read the FAQ for this site? This image is too big: the largest size of any side should not exceed 800 px; this image exceeds 1200px, and that means that for many users, the image does not fit within the frame of the browser, and that makes their viewing experience less than optimal. I'm sure that is not what you want. Further, this image has a file size of well over 300K; there is no reason for this to be the case, and you should always try to ensure that images have a file size less than 150K. Again, this is done for the convenience of all of users, many of whom are not blessed broadband, and thus, for those individuals, this becomes a somewhat large download. Finally, if you want members to able to look at larger or higher resolution versions of your image, it is perfectly acceptable to include a link to that file within your post. Thanx for your future cooperation. g.

I like it. Nice. The background is a bit busy and it's hard to isolate the main subject from the environment, but I like it nevertheless.
