Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

First more staged concert I've shot since Scorcherfest a few weeks ago - a nice sounding line up last night at the opening of the Fringe. Shot two bands, Kid Confucius and Infusion.
#1 - Kid Confucius guitarist, MC PreFab performs at the Opening Night of the 2007 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
#2 - Lead vocalist of Kid Confucius, Rob Hezkial at Adelaide Fringe 2007
#3 - Canon EOS-1D Mark II / 70-200/2.8IS at 135mm ISO1250 f/2.8 1/160s
#4 - Canon EOS-1D Mark II / 17-40 at 17mm ISO1600 f/4 1/60s

Great shots, especially the crowd shot. I like the fact that there are a couple of people (notably a couple of blonds near the front) who did care about putting their hands in the air who were focusing on you. Almost looks like a staged* shot.
P
* pun intended.

Actually packing a few bags right now - heading to Sydney tomorrow morning to spend a few extra days shooting there before the gallery opens.
The big day next Tuesday the 13th of March. 6-8PM @ the State Library of NSW. The exhibition will actually be open to the public on the 12th from what I gather on the State Library website.

Encourage all the Sydneysiders to come into town over the next few weeks to check it out!
