Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

it was good to meet up with everyone
it was not good to twist my ankle and fall over going down the hill and listen to my D200 bouncing down the road (a horrible sound)
lucky they are built tough and I only had the 50 1.8 on so no real damage
The ferry coming over to join the rest of us at Milsons Pt
this would be all I could afford
Fishing on the best harbour in the world
Trieu trying out his explorers pose
I need to work on the skin tones more... a bit over saturated

Firsty
Are you sure you weren't pushed? You had some pretty shady characters in company. Glad to hear the camera survived and you were not hurt.
Regards

Great photos Firsty.
Its great to see the good construction of the D200 body, but the grip doesn't say really good construction itself here, did you manage to fix up the battery holder on the grip?
Gladly, there is no serious injury from this fall.

Sorry to hear about the fall and accident. Great pics though. Looks like Trieu is up to something...not pioneering...just up to something.

Firsty, cool pics Yeah Nikon body had a fight with the road... I think the road won. But your all ok, so that's the good part.
And thanks heaps for taking a photo of me I take so many photos of my friends and family, seeing me is abit of change
Yeah.. in that moment, I was thinking about... hmmmm should I stick with Canon or do I make the switch..... Surrounded by Nikon today... Not good. Only other Canon person was Spada.

Come one Trieu, a little Canon bias there.. the Nikon body got back up and kept shooting.. the road was down for the count, all I saw it do was lay there...

Nice pics Keith.
It may be all you can afford but for me the second shot is on the money. Love the way the water looks and the reflections too. It has a special feel about it.
Cheers, Mick
