Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Coffee

It's been too long since I have posted a coffee shot, and I know you have all missed them

The shots themselves weren't the best, but I rarely get great espresso shots when I set up to take photos.

C&C appreciated, and I know there are a couple of hot spots and I couldn't get rid of my reflection in the group head.

I am not sure what it's supposed to be - it's part of the Dream set (forget who created them).

Illy cups are very cool - I have broken two cappuccino cups, but haven't come close to scratching my $2.95 Duracarem cups! :(

Holy coffee Patrick - sell them to Getty I think they'd go in a snap (for a price of course!!). Nice work! Critique? None needed here...

Actually - on closer inspection - clone your reflection out!

I'm gonna be a bastard and say that that first shot has some nasty spirralling going on ... just kidding.

The second photo is my favourite of the two - I love the angle, shots of shots aren't often shot that way.

Geoff & Antman - I know, I know - I didn't know how to clone out my reflection on a shiny, round object.

Matty - again, I know - ordinary shots.

Actually Matty, I was inspired by one of the photos on Hazel's blog site, however, the I couldn't focus close enough.

The first one is my favourite. Nice composition and cropping.

By the way - your reflection can be easily removed in PS. :)
