Innocent Eyes...Bel and I babysat for my best mate last night. I managed to take some images of his 2 year old daugther. With his permission I am posting these for comments/critique. I have printed a few to A3 for him, anyone considering the R1800 - just do it!!

Your talent for portraiture really shines here Geoff. #1 is great and the last one is not far behind (although I think I'd like to see it in colour).

Geoff - amazing photos that you and your mate should be proud of. Absolutely fantastic.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
i love #2 and #3. she has a cheeky look in #2 and that gorgeous curious, innocent look in #3. imo the brighness of these bring out what appears to be her bubbly personality and "fun-ness" and in partiualr the lighting on her face/ eyes is beautiful.
imho #1 looks a bit too "posing for a portrait" subdued. just my personal taste anyway. EM1 l 7.5 l 12-40 l 14 l 17 l 25 l 45 l 60 l 75 l AW1 l V3
