So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Landlubber's Ferry Hop
Well, not really a landlubber... I like boats. Just got my better results for the weekend on solid ground!
You've probably had your fill of AW Ferry Hop shots, so hopefully these are a bit different. #1 AMP 
#2 Leaf at Old Cremorne. Macro with the 28-70/2.8 
#3 Coffee Highlights Explorer 
#4 Flotilla, the Boat Show armada at anchor.

The first is very cool, has a very stylistic feel to it. The second is amazing, I assume its the leaf you were taking a photo of when I took the photo of you ?

#2 & #3 are alos really cool. I used to work in one of the buildings in the first shot and now I work in the other. Not that that detracts from the shot though

Here's the detail on the photos for those who are interested: #1 - 1/1250s @ f/11 ISO 200. Matrix Metering. Exposure Comp of -0.7 As the guys would have noticed on the day by the constant shutter chatter, I always shoot a 3 Frame exposure bracket at -0.7/0/+0.7 on the D2H (4MP RAW Filesize vs 8FPS vs 4GB CF cards = no worries). This frame was the -0.7 ev comp shot. The bright reflection from the glass on the building threw the metering out.Combined with the negative ev comp, I ended up with the dark sky (no polariser). I then dodged and burnt some areas of the image, followed by some saturation channel changes. #2 - 1/125s @ f/5.6, ISO 200 60mm. No extention tubes used - the Nikon 28-70/2.8 has a 'M' focal distance marked on it (supposedly implying its magical macro capabilities). I cropped the original frame by about 25%. Lucky shot
