Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Spent a little while in at the Royal Adelaide Show today and took a few shots:

I didn't find this year very interesting, but these shots have a little something.

These are really good the way the two rides are framed (geatcomposing there!) against the sky and the eyes on the dog.. I really like them...:)
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list... ;)

Daniel,
love the way you have framed the rides for a diffrent perspecive of the same old thing
I'm taking my son (7) on Monday and wasn't planning on carrying my camera around all day and dodging fairy floss and sticky fingers - but your shots have inspired me to change my mind.

The dog is sharp as with lovely highlights in the eyes - well done

Thank you both.

The framing of the second ride was a bit of luck.
It's always worth taking a small camera (the D2Xs and 80-400VR doesn't really count... :D) to the show, as there is always colour and action.
Thanks

Daniel

Good candid capture of the close up of the kids. Love the vibrant colors and the expression on their faces
