Good call the images are a bit washed out. I wasn't in the media room so I can't use that as an excuse.
Thanks Pehpsi.

Ahoy!

Good to see some of your images from the weekend.

Good timing in number 1, is that taken at the Hell Corner?

I like the position you have in 2 & 3, the exit to Murrays allows good panning, which incidently, you seem to have no problems with. If you shoot them a bit further out of Murrays with a wide angle, you also get the 'Mount Panorama' signage in the background.

I agree they need a bit more saturation. I tend to find with my settings (dependant on light) that a small reduction in brightness, with about the same increase in contrast helps, followed by a 6 - 10% increase in saturation. This helps give the images a nice magazine quality.

Also, number 3 is cropped a bit tight, with the very back of Ingall rear tail missing. If this is a full sized image, you can always rotate the image 45 degrees, crop heavily to just outside both wheels and make it an 'artsy' shot. :D

As always, was good to catch up. :D

Alan
No1 is taken up on the mountain. No3 is full frame no cropping and is part of a series of about 5 frames. Before I resized it the rear of Ingall's car was there, not sure what happened .

Thanks
