Dandelion Portfolio

I've been spending a bit of time on Redbubble and I've noticed that everyone (slight exaggeration) has a dandelion shot in their portfolio. So on the weekend, I decided to go out there, find some dandelions, and see what I could come up with.

I'd really appreciate some feedback on whether any these treatments work, and also how they could be improved!

For me, the last one is probably the best of the lot, followed by the one before that. I like the treatment in the two shots.

I like the use of space in the third image, but the rest do nothing much for me.

In the first and the last, I'd like to, for instance, see more of the stem. These two look unbalanced to me because there isn't enough of the stem.

Thanks for the feedback! Gary I'll see what I can do: I have some latitude (particularly in the last one) to make a crop featuring more of the stem - the crop I used was mine, not the camera's. For the first photo it might be a bit more tricky, as that was close to the photo's full size.

I really like the last shot - but it needs a fair bit of 'cleaning' - you can really see where you've gone through and erased ?? part of the background, giving the shot a 'dirty background'...... after cleaning it will be

Ummm.... not everyone's got a dandelion on Red Bubble! (Remiss of me, I know)

Great set BT but I'm really leaning towards the second as my 'pick'. The subtle colours are just magnificent.

Thanks for the additional feedback : I've attached a 'new' version of the third photo, which is the attempt at a clean* and uncropped image, thus with the maximum stem size possible.

*thanks so much to blacknstormy for noticing and pointing out the 'cleaning' issue - I had to tilt the screen of my laptop more than 45 degrees backwards to actually see it, but you're absolutely right! Not sure if I quite have the skill to fully clean it, but I've at least done a concerted 'dusting'!
