Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

From today, the usual suspects were in there..Fozzie, BBJ, Daniel, Warren and Tassie Dave. Great day considering the challenging weather conditions. Was very hard to get the exposures right for the flame shots, if any one has some clues, please tell.

The first one is the clear winner for me, it's a great shot but a real shame the sky is so grey.

Yes, the sky was very dull for most of the day but there was the odd patch but you have to make do with the situation at the time, so shoot away!!. The wind was making it hard as well, very hard to hand hold a 400 in those conditions. Felt a little sorry for Fozzie and BBJ with their 300 2.8's in that wind - lots of surface area.

Hi there Big V, great to catch up. Nice work there. Yes the 300 2.8's were like holding a windsock.

Hope you dont mind, but here is one of my flame shots.

Holy crap Dave, that's awesome!

Virgs, #1 is great, as are the flame shots. I think you've got the exposure pretty much right! #3 looks like a crazy time!

That was quick BigV. Good shots.
I've only just finished processing my shots.

Number 1 and 5 are to kill for... How on earth do you get these images. I thought taking pictures of the military was prohibited.

Zafra52, it was an open airshow where they actively encourage you to come along and view/photograph all of their cool toys.
