Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

I agree. I love the guy in the first one near the front looking up to the sky, with his face in the light. I'm an athiest but it looks kind of symbolic to me! I also like the guy with the bright p & s in the second.

Fab - It's great to see some of your work, my favourite here is #2 closely follow by #1, the P&S is just a classic moment nicely captured, as has been said #1 the light add some real drama and the different expressions from the holymen really makes it.
As Glen said some the best shots of WYD I've seen!

I agree with the second photo being great. It goes to show that technology affects us all. How long until we visit the vatican and find the walls covered in photos rather than paintings. haha

Cheers guys! Yep, I've tried to catch the WYD with a different view. I was there as media reporting with non "influence" and I'm glad to hear that from you. Yes first and second are my favourite third is sort of International "Brotherhood" , I got Pope pics as well but we all have seen to many around, in all poses and colours.... we will be satisfied till next jubileum. PS: Even if I've Italian origin and background, I'm yes catholic (when you are a kid and you live in a catholic country especially in Rome you are forced to do stuff even if you wont it ) but I'm non praticant since....too long. Now form me it's time and it's better shut up and start praying ! Thanks.

Haha, Jethro your right. It looks like a scene from starwars if the Siths turned up for the council meeting.
