Amberley Air show......!!!!!!!!

Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

All I can say is WOW!! the RAAF boys put on an amazing show, the action was all right in our faces....they even put the sun in the right spot :)

This is probably one of my favourites of the day.....just because of the way the sun reflected of his back...

Wishlist: canon 50mm f1.4 & canon 70-200 f2.8 ....& one day a better camera to put them on :-)

Great shots

#1 really good spotting, could have done with a little more sky to the right
#2 classic shot, great work
#3 :agree: most unfortunate that it was not in focus, but probably my favourite.

After posting these shots I realized that they seemed to have got lost in the translation......they look awfully fuzzy compared to the originals which I know were alot clearer than this....so as an experiment I tried something different & used the 'save for web' function in CS3.

Nice shots.

With regards to the first vs second set. The only difference I see is that the second set seem a little bit lighter compared to the first. As far as sharpness, I cannot see the difference.

Looks like you had a fun day though!

nice capture of the jet in 1st shot..... your second series of pictures seem to be sharper than the first.....
