Re: first image for critiqueHey Bill,
About bloody time! I'd like to see this cropped to portrait orientation, with just the two towers on the right. I don't thing the third tower ... what there is of it, on the left .... adds to this image, so I'm thinking eliminate it completely. Thus cut the image (roughly) in half, ditch the lh side, and then work with what's left. Whatcha think? g.

Re: first image for critiqueI partly agree with Gary, as far as the portrait orientation goes, but I actually think that the third tower would add to the composition if you could see more of it.

Re: first image for critiqueGreat treatment but I am curious to see a larger version of your avatar and how it was done?

Bill is, unlike me, a good bassplayer. That's how he normally looks. ![]() g.

Re: first image for critiqueThanks for the comments and making me feel welcome Gary.
I will do a couple of reworks. One as you have suggested and another with the third tower left in. Can I then post them here or is that a no no? As for the avatar, I can post a link to a larger version when I post it to flickr. cheers Billybass OncE yOu hAvE bEEn bIttEn... yOU'll bE InfEctEd

Re: first image for critiquesurenj,
Thankyou for your interest. This was my first attempt with photoshop. It's very artificial, but I had to start somewhere. I have posted the avatar to this URL on flickr http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3224/292 ... a0.jpg?v=0 OncE yOu hAvE bEEn bIttEn... yOU'll bE InfEctEd
