Re: Flowershi i think there's to much happening in the images...to many focal points...in a situation like this 1 or 2 flowers do a better job for me
Re: FlowersLove the way the purple/yellows "pop" against the green.
Nice shot. D90 + 18-55VR + 55-200VR
Re: FlowersAs presented here #2 is a better image, but I think #1 has room for considerable improvement by bumping the contrast and/or adjusting the curves to make the whites whiter and the blacks blacker to give the image a little more "pop"

Re: Flowers
I know what you mean, I made these busy on purpose it was the effect I was after. I have a few with only a few flowers in them. Will get them up a little later as #1 is especially busy now that I look at it.
Thanks, thats what I liked about the shot as well. I really like the bokeh the Tamron 90mm provides (so much that I often overdo it.)
Thanks for the feedback on pp stubbsy, I will give it a go. My pp skills are pretty basic atm so it may take a bit. Really appreciate the feedback though. Last edited by whitey on Mon Oct 06, 2008 9:30 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: FlowersWow, big difference. Much better contrast wise. Almost a 3D effect now.
