from an adertising campaign i did Marcus(photomarcs) from this forum assisted me for the first time and he eneded up shooting the best pic of the day(last pic) im sure he will surpass me very soon all shot available light with a few shadow saturation and lightening manipulations in post to give it an ethereal feel  slow shutter and camera roll   Markus shot this one, proud of you!

Great stuff there Wendell!
I really like the first, but how you did the camera roll is quite spectacular!

It's funny, we shot this style of image, the overexposed background idea - though we did it on the beach, in my class last week. Used a big scrim, assistants, nightmare! Here you go and do it with available light and no modifiers... I think your method is best by a country mile! Nice work too from Marcus, great timing on that one!

the camera roll i think i shot at 1/8 sec f8 focused the camera to the centre and rolled the camera in axis quickly
usually for this overexposed stuff you dont really need reflectors and scrims you just need to get out of direct sunlight or shoot backlit to the sunlight when you overexpose a little the ambient light from the backlit sun seeps in and smoothes the image also helps if its a bit cloudy but we had some sunny patches during the day

Thanks Dawsey... my timing was actually part of the three bursts i pushed through this scene.. ahh... i went back to work today and it felt like i wasn't really meant to be there.. IT'S A CALLING!! I have often wondered how this particular beast directs his models.  Maybe I need to help you guys in a shoot. I am happy to hold flash, cameras, scrims whatever... Are those highlights completely blown?  You must clean your lenses meticulously Wendell. The flare control is pretty awesome.  If I took this shot, all you'd see would be flare.

Ginsberg nice  Great work Wendell and Marcus. I love how you combine two concepts, the camera roll and fashion style photography two things I never thought would mix, yet you nail it! How many times did it take to get a keeper ?

hi suren ill welcome you to my next shoot, you can see how i direct models usually i have a vision in my head and i retake the shot with minor improvements until i get what i want as fo the flare i photoshopped some of it out but my lenses are not tht clean craig i took the camera roll pic about 10 times till i got what i wanted since i shot in it daylight with no flash just slow shutter it was harder to get definition it would work better if it were shot at night so the flash would of made the subject still and the slow exposure would capture the camera roll movement thanks guys
