Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Well, after a weekend of Colour problems on my Computer :x :x

Hopefully this nails it

Picture was just adjusted slightly in Levels, a bit of USM, then INVERTED
Presto
I think it looks cool anyway.

If the colour turns out right, maybe you will like too ??

Mic.

Colours are VERY interesting. Thereas a very pael brown background. The leaves are a nice pastel purple. The flower has the most amazing, almost iridescent, blue pollen centre fanning out to more pastelly purple, then pastel greens darkening into deep almost black green petals with pale pstel green at the very tips. (oh and the bottom left corner "leaves" have a dark purple rim)

Thanks Chris,

I'm back :D The colours even look good on my work Computer which is really saying something.

I think if you have a Mac my others I posted would have still looked pretty close to the mark in what I saw on mine.

But PC's didn't.

I hope this puts it all to rest.

Yes, I really liked my Inverted Flower Shot.

Cheers,

Mic.

I think you solved your bright color problem, Mic. This one looks very bright and colorful on my PC. :D So, does that mean that all of your future shots will be inverted? :P
