My assistant captured this, the bubbles was great.

Another great event :)My twin D200 did its job on weekend
![]() The AWB is much better then the D70. My assistant captured this, the bubbles was great.
Lovely shots - I think the first one is my favourite, for the closeness and 'love' in the shot.
But your off-sider got a nice shot with those bubbles, even if the couple looks a little less comfortable in this shot.
Thanks Craig,
Yes the couple does look uncomfortable and dress is abit washed out too ![]() ![]()
Hi Vince, i like both these shots even if dress is a bit washed out i dont think it matters, it is the moment that matters here and it is a great shot with the bubbles, makes it all worth remembering. i love all your wedding shots as this has been something i have not entered into yet but have been asked to do a few for friends back yard weddings, you know couple time around the traps say to speak so no big drama's.
I admire your work and well oneday i might get the guts to have a go a go as i do often get phone calls from people who know me from the track work i do but i try to shy away from it. Cheers John BBJ D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X

Thanks Vince despite the fact i take too damn many, clocked just over 5,000 shots on the D2x already after a couple of months.

excellent work
the 2nd shot of the bubbles is beyond amazing, I once saw buubles like these at a event but ti didn't look anything like in the 2nd pic The couple must be so happy with those shots of their special day
Thanks MHD & Wendellt.
First time for me with a bubble machine indoors at a reception. Most of the time it is a smoke machine or dry ice in a bucket.
Nice ones shutterbug, that first one is great. The bubbles add an interesting touch to the second, maybe if the couple were not so centered.
Absolutely beautiful shutterbug - I'm sure the bride was ecstatic with the shots

Yes, the D200 is sweet
![]() The images are straight out of cam with just resizing and usm.
I said it all before, go to the Auto accessories stores and buy one of the: 12 volts portable battery pack (Starter & Power supply), haul it in your backpack and connect to your D200. Its batteries (on D200) drain more quickly with the VR lenses, I shot an evening event (5/2/06) on a demo D200 (testing for a customer for banding and battery issues), it ran out of juice at around 300 shots with one fully charged battery (used no flash). The more of the AF-S glass hunts into focus, the more battery used. Last edited by birddog114 on Tue Feb 07, 2006 8:14 am, edited 1 time in total.
